ABOUT US
A European industrial platform, rebuilt for modern security.
Eurokompozit AD is an established North Macedonian industrial manufacturer with a long-standing heritage in advanced composite materials, defence products and special-purpose engineering. Based in Prilep, the company developed its industrial know-how around fibre-reinforced composite structures combining low mass, mechanical strength, corrosion resistance, electrical insulation and repeatable industrial production.
Historically, Eurokompozit has served defence, law-enforcement and industrial customers. Its production portfolio has included rocket-launcher structures, mortar projectile bodies and components, personal ballistic protection, composite tubes and cylinders, transformer insulation components, dry-sliding composite bearings, railway components and industrial safety products.
According to company information, in 2025 the company entered a new ownership phase, with its shares acquired by a Polish entity together with a Macedonian partner. This marked the beginning of a structured programme to reactivate, modernise and reposition the Prilep facility, focused on restoring industrial capacity, upgrading manufacturing technology, strengthening quality assurance, rebuilding the supply chain and developing a new generation of defence and composite products for European and allied markets.
The renewed Eurokompozit combines decades of manufacturing heritage with a new industrial strategy: preserve proven know-how, modernise critical production processes and transform the company into a competitive European centre for composite defence structures and specialised manufacturing.
CORE CAPABILITIES
01
COMPOSITES
Filament-wound and reinforced composite structures.
02
DEFENCE
Projectile bodies, launcher structures and protective systems.
03
ENGINEERING
Tooling, process engineering and production integration.
04
INDUSTRIAL
Tubes, cylinders, insulation and specialised components.

Projectile Bodies & Composite Shell Structures
A distinctive area of Eurokompozit’s manufacturing competence is the production of composite projectile bodies, casings and structural shells. Composite construction can provide an attractive combination of reduced mass, high specific strength, corrosion resistance and the ability to engineer mechanical properties for a defined application. The company’s modernisation strategy places particular emphasis on rebuilding and expanding this competence for contemporary defence programmes, supported by modern tooling, process monitoring, material traceability and dimensional inspection.
Rocket Launcher Structures
Eurokompozit has a documented industrial heritage in lightweight rocket-launcher structures. Historical production included the 64 mm M80 Zolja, 90 mm M79 Osa and 120 mm-class launcher families. Fibre-reinforced composite structures enabled robust launcher bodies with substantially lower weight than conventional all-metal solutions. The strategic direction is to apply established manufacturing know-how to modern, modular and scalable defence systems.

Mortar & Ammunition Components
Eurokompozit’s historical production programme also included mortar-related components and projectile structures. The revitalisation programme is intended to recover the relevant manufacturing disciplines and integrate them with upgraded quality systems, modern materials and contemporary industrial requirements.
Detection & Tracking
Command & Control
Fire-Control
Automated Launcher
Interceptor Family
Swarm Breaker is a new-generation counter-UAS concept being developed around Eurokompozit’s renewed defence capabilities. The programme is intended to address the growing requirement for a cost-effective layer of protection against small unmanned aerial threats, including scenarios in which conventional high-end interceptors are economically disproportionate to the target.
The system concept brings together target detection and tracking, command-and-control, fire-control processing, automated launcher operation and a dedicated interceptor family within a modular architecture, occupying the operational and economic space between very expensive missile interceptors and very-short-range gun-based solutions.
Swarm Breaker is conceived as a scalable system architecture rather than a single standalone product, allowing launcher configuration, sensor integration and command-and-control interfaces to be adapted to different operational requirements while maintaining a common industrial and software backbone.
ADVANCED COMPOSITE TECHNOLOGY
Composite engineering as the technological core.
Composite engineering remains the technological core of Eurokompozit. The company’s historical portfolio demonstrates experience in wound composite tubes and cylinders, electrically insulating components for high-voltage equipment, composite bearings, railway applications and specialised industrial structures. The renewed industrial programme is focused on translating this know-how into higher-value applications in defence, energy, infrastructure and specialised engineering. Priority areas include improved material systems, controlled winding processes, production repeatability, non-destructive inspection, digital traceability and the qualification of products for demanding European customers.

BALLISTIC & PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT
Eurokompozit has historically manufactured personal ballistic protection and protective equipment for military and law-enforcement users, including ballistic helmets, body-armour components and protective shields. The company’s experience in reinforced plastics and lightweight structures provides a natural technological link between composite manufacturing and personal protection.
INDUSTRIAL PRODUCTS
Beyond defence, Eurokompozit has supplied composite products for industrial applications. This dual-use industrial base is strategically important: it broadens the company’s market exposure, supports continuous utilisation of composite production assets and creates technology transfer between civil and defence applications.
